In 2021 we completed a renovation of a local derelict barn into a striking family home. We have recently started on adding a garden room extension onto the property, and are looking forward to seeing the end result.

Before
Many of the ashlar blocks exhibited structural deficiencies, including fractures, fissures, and perforations.
After
The load is now evenly distributed across sturdy concrete flags with a lead tray and flue liners, ensuring the new ashlar's durability.
Barn Preservation
We recently completed the restoration of a traditional, derelict barn within the Yorkshire Dales National Park (YDNP) to restore it to it's traditional former glory. We re-roofed it with traditional flag stones and replaced all of the roof timbers with locally sourced larch. We also rebuilt an internal wall and both gables to restore structural integrity and lime pointed internally and externally and lime parged the roof.
